Summary:
Harena III is a feral world, renown for it's hardy population and exotic xeno beasts. While the Governor rules from the North Pole, most of the planet's population is kept on the large central continent, which spans most of the planet's surface. These people are nomadic tribesmen, who spend most of their lives fighting off the effects of starvation and dehydration under the blistering suns. Harenians are hardy, war-like people, who scramble to fight other tribes for the scarce resources, making them perfect recruits for the Imperial Guard or Alfa Legion.

Society:
As previously stated, Harena's society is still largely tribal, with most tribes being nomadic. They travel across the desert on the back of great, hardy beasts of burden, warring with other tribes whenever they come into contact with them. This has given them a very traditional and respected warrior culture, where death in battle is seen as a form of worshiping the "Gold King of Skies", who is seen as the ultimate spirit of War, Knowledge, and Prosperity.
Besides dying in battle, the Gold King of Skies is also, and mainly, worshiped through music, taught to the tribes by the priestly caste known as the Skysingers. These Minostorum-approved figures scour the midlands of Harena, teaching tribes the ways of the Gold King and new songs to sing his praises with. Despite usually travelling with an ample amount of supplies, they are almost always left alone by the Tribesmen for fear of reprisal from not only the Gold King, but the other tribes. Though rare, entire tribes have been wiped out to the last member for daring to raid a Skysinger caravan.
While life in the midlands is incredibly difficult and hazardous, those who live on the two polar continents can expect a much more comfortable life. Though mostly Administrautum and Ministorum servants, many among them are simply just citizens, living in the cities and attempting to make them function. Agriculture is encouraged near the deposits of fresh water, and advanced irrigation systems mixed with imported volcanic ash from the midlands allow them to be incredibly fertile.
