The House War
The Norwesian House War, while fairly much confined to Norwesia itself, sent economic shockwaves throughout Subsector, which even now still shakes the foundations of many worlds...
It was at first, a six-year cold war between House Thaumarge and House Scrimsean, with the lesser houses picking sides, some staying neutral while others currying favour with one or another.
The Conflict that erupted later tore Norwesia apart, two houses waged a war based on a long-forgotten grudge for approximately two and a half years. In the end, a black streak of heresy broke out, intervention by the Alfa Legion was required, and thus was the world locked in Martial Law by the Astartes. What more that will happen, we will not be sure... (Because we are not moving the plot forward.)

Timeline of events:
Bombing of Dradstone
Considered the first major battle of the Norwesian House War, it took place in the largest Hive City on Norwesia, Dradstone, located along the western coast of the westerly continent Hraven. The hive was heavily divided in it’s economy, ruled by two rival houses, the Birkshire and the Da’jin. When the House Wars started picking up speed, the Thaumarge and Scrimsean turned their eyes towards the city, seeking to spread their political influence. House Da’jin sided with the Thaumarge while the Birkshire sided with House Scrimsean. As events and campaigns carried on, the Da’jin slowly started to lose their foothold in the city. As heat started to pick up between the rival House factions, two armies met in the Dradstone’s Capital Square. Fifty thousand men on both sides held each other at gunpoint for two straight days. Right before an olive-branch petition was about to be signed, a single lasrifle shot rang off across the square. Both sides began unleashing devestation on each other within seconds, slaughtering soldiers in the thousands. The killing field ended with less than a total of four hundred men alive, who simply ran out of ammo to continue fighting and surrendered. No one knows who fired the first shot or what caused them to, but the city erupted into full-scale havoc for two months. Thaumarge mobilized heavy artillery and aerial bombardment on the city, wrecking the surface hive into rubble. The Scrimsean aborted their efforts as the city fell, leaving the Birkshire to pick up the pieces as they moved their eyes to a different front.
The Pulnick Evacuations
House Pulnick is another minor noble family which stayed distinctly neutral throughout the conflict. However, they funded and organized large evacuations of cities when the rival houses started escalating disputes within them, in an effort to prevent another Dradston incident. However, this alternative wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world compared to their new life under the Pulnick. Refugees boarded boats and were sailed to the House’s territory - where they sold into slavery. The weak, ill, and old were shot and dumped into the harbor. Those deemed worthy were sold off, while others were kept for recreational purposes by Pulnick Nobles. A small tactical squad of Alfa Legionaries eradicated the House around four dozen years after the House Wars, when an escaped slave spread news of the atrocities - and alleged sacrifices to daemons of the warp.
The Witching Hours
One of the final and most bloody events in the House Wars, the Witching Hours were a brief few weeknights of upheaval all across Norwesia. Citizens began rioting in the Hive Brightworks streets, attacking House buildings and murdering Thaumarge and Scrimsean members alike. A total of four-hundred and seventy three House representatives were hung or burned at the stake by the end of two weeks before Legionnaires were sent to quell the riots.
